  • The preliminary desk research carried out by the LEONIE consortium is focused on trends and drivers of change affecting European Education and Training systems. Each partner produced a document summarizing national and international trends of education and training systems, and identified main drivers of change. All the contributions have been summarised in a single paper, which can be found and downloaded in the output section.
  • On this theoretical basis, field research have been conducted with the aim to gather the opinions of European education and training experts and stakeholders on future developments affecting European learning systems. Two parallel on line enquires, based on the Delphi methodology and the Weak signal survey, have been conducted.
  • national seminars. The goal of national seminars was to get national opinions on the outcomes of the LEONIE project at European level. A group of national experts commented the results and draw conclusions, in order to bring national “flavour” into the project by identifying which trends of change and policy priorities are expected in the country in question.
  • Indicators. They are used in order to corroborate the outcomes of the research: they will provide evidences, both quantitative and qualitative, of the existence of the trends and policies identified, therefore allowing comparisons, in time and between countries, of change processes affecting education and training.
  • Report & final workshop: the dissemination is both an ongoing feature of project development and implementation, and a concerted task at the end of the project. Information on the project and its achievements will be disseminated in the national seminars and in the final conference of the project. The integrated study report combines the results coming from desk research, Delphi Survey, Weak Signals Survey and seminars.
